Clean Homeland
The “Clean Homeland” project is a social and charitable initiative by Saliheen dedicated to honoring sanitation workers, especially street cleaners and municipal workers, who work tirelessly day and night, often in difficult conditions, to keep our streets and neighborhoods clean and orderly.
About this project
The goal of the project is to promote greater respect for honest work, provide material and moral support to street cleaners and other sanitation workers, and foster a culture of cleanliness and care for the environment within society.
This project is not only about providing assistance to sanitation workers. We also want to draw public attention to the work of those who go out into the streets every day before most of us wake up and continue working after we leave, ensuring that our cities remain clean.
As part of the project, material assistance is provided to workers in need, while educational and social initiatives are also organized to encourage greater awareness of cleanliness, civic responsibility, and respect for the work of others.
We believe that keeping a city clean is not solely the responsibility of street cleaners. Every citizen should contribute to keeping their neighborhood, streets, and homeland clean.
In other words:
We do not simply help street cleaners — we strive to awaken respect for honest work and strengthen a culture of cleanliness in society.
A clean homeland begins with each one of us.
How it works
From need to report
Every project moves through four clear stages — so you can see exactly where your contribution goes.
- 01
Identify the need
Through local imams, partners, and direct requests we find people who truly need help.
- 02
Verify and assess
We visit in person, speak with those involved, and evaluate the situation.
- 03
Execute with locals
Work is done through local specialists and volunteers — the money stays in the community.
- 04
Report back to donors
Photos, documents, and outcomes are published in this project's reports.
