“Ramadan Assistance” Project

The “Ramadan Assistance” project is a charitable initiative by Saliheen dedicated to supporting families in need during the blessed month of Ramadan. We strive to provide low-income families with essential food for their Ramadan tables and, whenever possible, help relieve their most important needs during this blessed month.

About this project

The goal of the project is to provide targeted assistance to families who are genuinely in need during Ramadan, allowing them to observe their fast with peace of mind and have the essential food needed for suhoor and iftar.

Depending on the needs of each family, assistance may include food packages, essential household items, and important home appliances.

As part of the project, for example, assistance was provided to 200 needy families in Khujand and Nosiri Khusraw. They received 200 food packages, as well as washing machines, bread makers, refrigerators, scooters, televisions, ovens, and other essential items according to their individual needs.

We strive to ensure that Ramadan assistance is not simply a food package, but, whenever possible, addresses the actual needs of each family.

Ramadan is a month of mercy, generosity, and compassion. Supporting those who are fasting, helping provide what they need for suhoor and iftar, and making life easier for families in need are among the good deeds that hold special value during this blessed month.

In other words:

We fill the table of a family in need during Ramadan so they can observe their fast with peace of mind and experience the blessings of this sacred month.

May Allah accept this from us and from you. 🤲🏻

How it works

From need to report

Every project moves through four clear stages — so you can see exactly where your contribution goes.

  1. 01

    Identify the need

Through local imams, partners, and direct requests we find people who truly need help.

  2. 02

    Verify and assess

We visit in person, speak with those involved, and evaluate the situation.

  3. 03

    Execute with locals

Work is done through local specialists and volunteers — the money stays in the community.

  4. 04

    Report back to donors

Photos, documents, and outcomes are published in this project's reports.
